lesson of the day

never ever take "pick up" for granted. I'm talking about the kind of "pick up" that prevents you from getting run over. I think I had gotten kind of spoiled-even the volvo had way more get up and go than this dang rental. I almost got run over several times in traffic because the car just didn't have the gumption to go. My dad is always so proud of the pick up in his car and i've always just kind of rolled my eyes-but now I think I get it. And special props to the Honda on this note...it has some good good pick up...speaking of which...i'm on my way to go pick it up! It's been a long twelve days with the 'bu but now they are OVER!! yippee skippee!
