so this will be random...
1.) We hit the town last night...great fun and that is just all you need to know about that.
so,if you didn't know already...I chopped my locks. This was a bit of a tough decision but I've decided I'm happy with it. I consulted my #1 hair friend and she convinced me to do it for sure...and then followed that with the reassurance that if I hated it...hair always does grow!
2.) I was reminded recently that it's a very very small world. I could go a lot of places with this statement alone-but I'll just add that it reminded me how careful you must be ALWAYS when interacting with other people. Enough said.
3.)The Austin Auto Show was here this weekend. I was a bit suspicious of something car-related going on-when I cruised down Congress and saw a bunch of "old-fashioned" cars. Later,my bubs informed me of said show.Very cool stuff. I want a turquoise Thunderbird I've decided. Anyways, just for my bubs I spent the weekend taking pictures of these 'old-fashioned' cars when I spotted them on the road.
I realize this is strange. I've never claimed to be normal.
Now this next photo is rather interesting. Let me tell you that as I was pulling onto my street last night(very late) I noticed two men pushing this car. Note how you can see one of the man's eyes and that freaks me out...anyways-it was very 'sound of music' escape to the mountains scene without Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrews of course. But it quickly brought me down from my turquoise Thunderbird high because I am not in the market for pushing cars around busy streets late at night. No sir-my dependable Honda is perfect for me!
And this next one is bizarre as well. I took it in the rear view as we were on the way home from lunch today.
So my Bubs should be proud! I was very, very much a part of the car show festivities!
4.)Today, I took E and J to get crepes and cupcakes on South Congress. It was a gorgeous day. The crepe was delicious(nutella and banana) and we had a good time talking about why Austin is 'weird.'
5.) As we were getting into the car...we saw a cactus...I thought of J. Couldn't resist...
6.)I am sunburned.
7.) I have two major tests this week-yet can't bring myself to buckle down. So I'm watching the Natalee Holloway movie on Lifetime. DISTURBING!!!
that's all folks.
Happy Sunday!
